My final two nights in Paris began with a high-speed train from Lyon. I stayed at the Courtyard Gare de Lyon and enjoyed Gumbo Yaya's incredible chicken and waffles. I then visited Montparnasse Tower for breathtaking 360-degree views, followed by a Netflix premiere at Soho House. My last day included baking croissants and a speakeasy tour. Finally, I departed from Charles de Gaulle.

Our AmaWaterways cruise took an unexpected turn in Lyon, leading to a delightful exploration of France's Beaujolais wine region. We toured the historic Château de Corcelles, learned about its transformation into a vineyard, and savored exquisite Gamay wines. The day concluded with a breathtaking sunset over the vineyards, marking a memorable farewell to our French river adventure.
